Coronavirus Outbreak
10 February 2020

In light of the Coronavirus outbreak, all companies including Sun Cargo offices in China were forced by the Government to extend their Lunar New Year / Spring Festival Holiday until 10 Feb 2020. However, in order to contain the spread of the outbreak and due to different level of restrictions and regulations as set by the local Government at different cities in China, not all the companies are able to resume their operations entirely today as scheduled with regional variations across the country.

Like other companies, employees of Sun Cargo at China offices are instructed by the Government and Health Authorities; restricted them to work at office like normal days during this week. Nonetheless, our employees are working from home and trying our best to minimize the impact to our operations / services.

Some factories in China are still not yet resume their production and some of them have to operate with lower productivity because of labor shortage. In addition, the coronavirus outbreak has disrupted flights to / from China as many airlines around the globe halt service. Moreover, terminal / warehouse operations and haulage delivery as well as vessel and rail schedule are inevitably affected at this critical moment. Definitely, we will update the shipment status with close monitoring and follow-up.
